It was established that the phenomenon of Japanese law, given the peculiarities of its origin, genesis and modern manifestations, remains relevant for further research. A look at the historical features of the reception of the legal systems of other civilizations into the legal system of Japan is offered.
In the conclusions it is stated that in the new papers it is stated that throughout the 19th and 20th centuries Japan has absorbed the best practices of developed countries. In our analysis, you can see that the Japanese borrowed a wide range of institutions and legal norms, from the police to the courts - everything underwent changes and reforms. It is worth noting that without these forced changes, Japan would not have been able to restore its economy at such a rapid pace. Thanks to these changes, the prevailing militarism and revanchism in society was overcome, which enabled the Japanese economic miracle to take place.
