Drill training as the main means of strengthening discipline and organizing the professional training of future law enforcement officers

The study of the current state of the law enforcement officers service training organization in the modern conditions of the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, taking into account the further formation of bodies and units of the National Police, the need to improve the combat tactics of law enforcement officers under the martial law, the performance of operational and tactical tasks by police officers in certain regions of the state in the territories where hostilities are taking place and in the de-occupied territories demand higher standards of the service and combat training of permanent and non- permanent police personnel, including the service discipline and drill practice of law enforcement officers, ensuring the coherence of their collective actions.
Summarizing the materials of this study, taking into account the justification of the significant educational opportunities of military training, which contributes to strengthening the discipline and organization of professional training of modern law enforcement officers, it should be noted that the novelty of this publication is that in higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which train specialists in in the educational program «Law enforcement activities», military training became a separate discipline of the professional direction as «Physical training and self-defense skills», «Fundamentals of weapon ownership and fire training», «Tactical and special training».
